Daylight Saving Time (サマータイム)

This is a picture of the sky at eight in the evening.

It was still bright enough to distinguish people's faces.

夜８時の空です。まだ黄昏時ですね。

This is because daylight saving time period has begun.

The time during the period is adjusted forward one hour.

So this corresponds to at seven in the evening in Japan.

今はサマータイムが始まっているからです。

その期間は一時間程時計が進められています。 

日本なら夜7時の写真になりますね。

遅い時間まで外が明るいと、

なんか得した気分になるのは不思議。

一日が長くなる訳じゃないのにね。。。
